The Transaction Capt Intmd Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to various securities related functions, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to support traders, maintain position records, and improve process efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Process securities transactions, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products
  • Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies, in conjunction with professional judgement to make process improvement recommendations
  • Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
  • Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms
  • Identify policy gaps and formulate new policies to enhance the streamlining of trade flow processes
  • Monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank
  • Provide informal guidance, and/or on the job training to new team members
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated comprehension of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance

The Transaction Capt Intmd Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to various securities related functions, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to support traders, maintain position records, and improve process efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales FX desk.
  • Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, identifying operational risks, trade confirmation and settlement forecasts.
  • Support Sales FX desk monitoring Front Office Intraday position, working along with other bank departments such as backoffice, client services, etc. to assure that all trades are treated and prioritized correctly.
  • Verify if all trades have been properly affirmed by clients, escalating when necessary.
  • Provide reports from Front Office to Middle Office’s team to assure that Middle Office’s end-of-day activities are properly performed.
  • Monitor client’s demands for positions, balances etc., working along with Client services departments and other areas when needed.
  • Use data analysis tools and methodologies to make recommendations to senior management to support process improvement.
  • Design and analyze reports to support/control activities and make recommendations based on identified trends and facts.
  • Interpret data and recommend the launch of new products/ services or upgraded platforms that support pre-settlement processes and transaction capture functions.
  • Minimize bank risk, and provide solutions to reduce errors, and ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
  • Manage, escalate, and resolve all requests / inquiries / issues / errors and identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline processes.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent English
  • Microsoft Office
  • VBA is desired
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related role
  • Relevant Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
