Expected Outcomes:
Collaborate with various business functions, including Legal to draft and negotiate a wide variety of complex contracts.
Advise sales and business teams on agreement structure, risks, and alternatives.
Consult with legal team, compliance, and other business functions to ensure templates comply with legal requirements and best practices.
Facilitate signatures and countersignatures to ensure timely contract execution.
Track and communicate contract expirations within assigned territory.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings; manage agenda, post minutes, and manage participants.
Actively participate and assist with executing new product launches.
Assist with executing price increases and price adjustments.
Manage contract templates, including systematic review and incorporation of best practices.
Maintain SOPs and Guide Sheets specific to Contract Authoring.
Collaborate with trainers to design and deliver training materials for Sales on contracting processes, policies, and procedures.
Train Commercial Operations staff on contracting processes.
Participate in periodic review of 5.0 and 6.0 flags to ensure alignment with PDx needs.
Identify, participate, and lead process improvement initiatives to support lean strategy.
Critical Experiences Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or paralegal certification with 5+ years of related experience, JD or MBA Preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience with contract drafting and negotiation with customer/client interaction and managing successful relationships
Experience in the HealthCare, Pharmaceutical, and/or Life Sciences industry
Demonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast-paced environment
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals from multiple departments at all levels of the organization
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, language proficiency in English
Ability to work successfully towards strict deadlines, as well as independently on multiple, simultaneous assignments
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience negotiating and drafting complex multi-year supply agreements
Experience using, developing, and/or implementing a Contract Lifecycle Management system
Experience using software including SAP, Salesforce.com and Power BI or similar tools
Enable collaborative culture and organization to improve customer/client satisfaction levels and responsiveness
