As an intern, you will function as a force multiplier for the Business & Product Management team. Your responsibilities will act as a bridge between technical execution and business strategy:
1. Product Management & Operations (The "Product" Side)
Requirements Gathering: Assist in drafting Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features across the OEM portfolio (e.g., Certification Managements, Consumer Product, Referrals).
Voice of the Customer: Analyze feedback from customer site visits and support tickets to identify pain points and propose product enhancements.
Agile Collaboration: Work inside tools like Aha, collaborating with Engineering and Design to track sprint progress.
Strategic Presentations: Prepare consulting-quality PowerPoint decks for senior leadership (Directors & VPs) to communicate roadmap updates, market opportunities, and pilot results.
2. Data Analytics & Strategy (The "Business" Side)
Reporting & Performance Analysis: Develop, manage, and analyze recurring and adhoc reports using Excel, Tableau, and other tools - translating complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders and customers.
Client Presentations: Create and present high quality, client-ready PowerPoint decks that translate complex data analyses and reporting into clear, compelling stories for external customers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the corporate Analytics team to align requirements for enhancements to data needed for supporting customer needs.
Product & Customer Value: Build a strong understanding of CCC’s products and solutions, learning how our products deliver ROI for customers.
Unlike traditional internships where you might be siloed into one function, this program offers a 360-degree view of how software products are built and sold.
Location: This is an in‑person internship based in our downtown Chicago office, giving interns valuable on‑site experience and access to company events and team collaboration.
Real Impact: You will work on features that actually go to market and impact thousands of users.
Mentorship: Direct access to Product Managers and exposure leadership.
Hybrid Exposure: You will leave this internship with a portfolio that showcases skills in both Business Analytics and Product Management, making you highly competitive for future roles in Tech Strategy or Product.
In order to be considered for this role you are required to be in pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor's or Master's throughout your internship.
Current Junior (consideration given to high-achieving Sophomores)
Major in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields.
Analytical Rigor: Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs are a must) and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc) and an ability to distill complex data sets into clear insights.
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; ability to create compelling narratives in PowerPoint.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with or strong interest in Agile methodologies, JIRA, SQL, or product analytics tools is a major plus.
Self-Starter: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
