We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Intelligence (BI) team. You will support internal and external stakeholders with data, analysis, and documentation to facilitate key projects and initiatives on the team. This role requires familiarity with hands-on data analysis, as well as documentation and experience supporting data operations.  You will work closely and collaborate with other members of the Revenue Analytics function in order to deliver successful business outcomes, supporting Sales and Revenue teams.

Day to Day:

  • Use Excel, SQL, and Looker (our internal BI tool) to produce ad hoc analyses and planned dashboards around company and customer performance quickly and in real time

  • Answer data requests and questions from all departments by supporting our on call process in slack and JIRA

  • Transfer data from dashboards/excel into powerpoint and word documents to be disseminated and used across the company in various internal and external meetings

  • Manually monitor dashboards, processes, and pipelines and write daily/weekly update briefs

  • Organize, document and maintain our core company data definitions, metrics, and calculations, and ensure that they are accurately represented throughout the BI tools and documentation systems

  • Explore ways to automate manual data related projects such as manual processing needs on Business Intelligence

Please note this role required 3 x a week in our NYC office.

The annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $70,000 to $85,000 . Base salary is one component of Gen's total compensation package, which includes 401(k) match, health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
