Key responsibilities

Become a Service Technician (m/f/d) at ABB in Minden!
In our Instrumentation Workshop, you are responsible for repairs and calibrations of flow measurement technology products. With your expertise and customer focus, you play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving the growth of our service center.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Professional repair, calibration, and adjustment of flow measurement technology products

• Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of device faults, including fault analysis

• Independent setup of the workspace as well as disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of various device types

• Inspecting, assessing, and documenting the technical condition of repaired devices

• Timely creation and processing of service reports and other documentation

• Providing telephone customer support and cooperating with quality assurance on complaint issues

• Continuous improvement of personal skills and overall service processes

Qualifications for the role

• Completed vocational training of at least three years in a relevant field

• Professional experience in measurement and control technology preferred

• Independent, team-oriented, and quality-focused working style with strong customer focus

• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is an advantage

• Fluent German and basic English skills, both written and spoken

• High self-motivation and flexibility
