• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience equally preferable
CERTIFICATIONS
• AWS Cloud certification a plus
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Experience with data warehousing and data marts
• Exposure to banking products such as loans, deposits, markets, etc. is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS preferred
• Experience with data lake/Hadoop/Spark/Cassandra/Apache/Hive implementations and performance tuning preferred
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Understanding of end-to-end design, build, and testing of batch data pipelines
• Understanding of data integration, data governance, and data lineage concepts
• Proficiency with SQL, Relational Databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
• Basic experience with data modeling Concepts – Dimensional (Star Schema and Snowflake Schema) Slowly Changing Dimensions, etc.
• Data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT – Informatica PowerCenter, AWS Glue
• Exposure to Amazon Web Services – Kinesis, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), PySpark, RedShift, Lambda, Relational Database Service (RDS), DynamoDB, Glue Catalog, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Athena
• Familiarity with any Enterprise Scheduler such as Autosys
• Proficiency with scripting – Unix Shell, Python, Java
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD Tools – Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, etc. a plus
• Familiarity with Testing Tools HP ALM, etc.
• Basic understanding of IT Project Life Cycle Methodologies – Waterfall and Agile

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, Develop, Test, and Implement Data Integration Solutions as assigned
• Collaborate with data architects, data/systems analysts, business users in understanding business requirements, business rules, and business outcomes and objectives
• Contribute to impact analysis
• Contribute to documenting, developing, testing, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting enterprise data solutions using ETL/ELT mappings, workflows, and scripts
• Help investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve failures, data and other issues
• Help ensure data quality and integrity standards are met or exceeded
• Contribute to DUT/SIT/UAT/DR/regression testing activities
• Maintain project & BAU design, data flow, technical, documentation
• Recommend and follow best practices, standards, processes, and procedures
The typical base pay range for this role is between $103K - $120K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
