Job Description Summary:
As an expert in interventional management and the care of the patient population, this position provides in-depth, proactive consultation and direction to the service line director, hospital staff and physicians concerning the daily operations, yearly budgeting, planning resource and equipment utilization and execution to ensure that the organization meets or exceeds the goals as measured on the Balanced Scorecard. This position will influence customer satisfaction indicators including staff and physician behavior throughout the service line. In addition, responsibilities include: 1. Works closely with senior leadership on planning, designing, and implementing improvement strategies. 2. Collaborates closely with the team. 3. Responsible for identifying areas for improvement through meetings, observation, data analysis and assessments with the unit/department staff. 4. Helps direct teams in developing action plans and strategy to achieve desired results. 5. Assist director with special projects involving overall operations.Responsibilities And Duties:
The Department Manager is responsible for all operational functions of the Cath Lab, IRand EP Lab, as those operations support the hospital mission, vision and organizational goals. The manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the hospital mission, vision and organizational goals. The manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the financial performance of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customer needs and expectations. The manager analyzes customer satisfaction data and clinical outcomes in order to identify opportunities to improve services and develop corresponding strategies that incorporate employee involvement.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)LIC - Licensed in Field - State of OhioAdditional Job Description:
Field of Study: Nursing or health related field. Preferred Experience includes management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, physician relations, supplies, inventory, vendor management and management of supervisory positions. 5 years of management leadership Experience required.
