Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate routines to support delivery of large programs, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
Broaden relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
Establish target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders
Track success metrics and provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule
Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
Manage relationships with business and technology partners and serves as a trusted technology leader within Communities of Practice and cross-organizational initiatives
Ensure adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
Direct and lead a delivery team aligned to a portfolio and mentors Delivery Lead
Manage and improve portfolio operations and governance processes, ensuring risks and roadblocks are escalated and resolved quickly
Build relationships with business and technology executives across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
Manage program financials and supports resource planning
Ensure adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
Required Qualifications:
Solution Delivery Process: Drives adoption and continually improve processes in the solution delivery process across teams. Depth of experience in aligning technology effort to financial service lines of business.
Planning, Execution and Process: Facilitates program/portfolio level planning ceremonies against backlog/prioritized work. Manages risk/dependencies/impediments. Ability to answer program/portfolio level Agile/waterfall framework questions.
Solution Design: Has contributed to the development of applications based on a design provided by others.
Financials and Resource Management: Ability to track programs and multiple value stream variances in order to ensure work aligns with program objectives.
Production Support, Triage, and Operational Excellence: Proven experience leading critical triage, incident management, and production support activities. Demonstrated success driving root cause analysis, coordinating cross-functional resolution efforts, improving operational stability, and preventing recurrence through sustainable corrective actions.
Risk Management: Identifies risk/dependencies and quantifies the impact it has on the business/technology and what controls are to be used to resolve
Stakeholder Management and Influence: Builds strong partnerships with senior business and technology leaders. Demonstrated ability to influence decisions, align stakeholders, drive consensus, and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Application & Data Architecture: Possesses an understanding of architecture and bank standards. Participates in or supports delivery of architecture designs and implementations
Data Management: Has knowledge of data management practices and technologies but has not been hands-on with the development of a data system.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 10+ years of experience in financial services
