Early Years Development Coordinator (Engineering/Manufacturing)

What You’ll Do:

Technical Training Coordination:

• Lead technical training initiatives tailored for early years career talent

• Liaise with training providers and internal stakeholders to ensure that development activities meet the needs of the business and learners.
• Facilitate technical development opportunities including collaborating with customers and key development partners.

Programme Coordination Early Years Talent:

• Take the lead in coordinating assessment centres, induction programs, career fairs, and tailored development activities, ensuring a seamless experience for early career talent.
• Support all aspects of early career talent rotations, including coordinating equipment, travel, and software, to enable effective team transitions.
• Manage and actively promote a comprehensive calendar of development activities.
• Plan and liaise with managers regarding programme rotations.
• Support STEM Outreach developing activities, maintaining materials required and co-ordinating with local schools and STEM Outreach partners
• Develop and maintain resources on Sharepoint and Learning Systems

Manufacturing Coordination

• Work with the RMR site Lead for Rotating Machines to provide technical training and support.
• Plan and liaise with managers regarding programme rotations for shop floor apprentices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Previous customer facing, or co-ordination experience ideally within learning and development
• Experience with STEM outreach or early career recruitment desirable
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance
