About This Opportunity  

Join a highly collaborative and purpose-driven Faculty Research Office where you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Associate Dean (Research). In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will play a pivotal role in enabling research excellence and innovation across the faculty, contributing to the delivery of impactful research initiatives, programs, and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities will include:  

  • Provide high-level executive support to the Associate Dean Research, expertly managing a dynamic diary, inbox, meetings and travel arrangements.

  • Coordinate researcher development programs, initiatives, and events, ensuring seamless delivery and a high-quality experience for stakeholders.

  • Deliver end-to-end secretariat support for committees and working groups, including preparing papers, capturing minutes, and driving follow-up actions.

  • Support research operations through financial administration, grant-related activities, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining efficient office systems.

  • Build strong relationships across the University and beyond, preparing high-quality communications and insights while ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures.


About You

You’re a proactive, highly organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional support.

  • A degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and administrative expertise.

  • Demonstrated experience providing executive or senior administrative support within a large and/or complex organisation.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with diverse stakeholders.

  • A high level of discretion, with proven experience handling sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Well-developed stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted and effective working relationships.

  • Strong problem-solving ability, using initiative and sound judgement to navigate challenges.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using enterprise systems such as SharePoint, Teams or similar platforms.
