Job Description

The Junior role in Asset Servicing Team which depending on Team assignment will include managing, reconciling and processing Corporate Action events: event announcement, clients’ instructions, SWIFTS processing, cash & stock payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing Events: analysis of market announcements and documentation treatment related to Corporate Actions, identification of key dates and requirements to be communicated to the clients and followed during the internal event processing. Communication with market participants and key stakeholders
  • Processing elections: monitoring of client instructions and further processing according to event requirements through manual entry into Corporate Action platforms. Initiation of communication to the client in case of missing details. Processing agent confirmation and acting accordingly in case of rejection, using an appropriate escalation path.
  • Processing payments: Manual entry of payments into the Corporate Action platform, reconciliation of clients eligibility to ensure accurate cash and stock postings. Reconciliation of receivables from the market with payables to the clients.
  •  Independently responding to standard client inquiries both internal and external, escalating and responding in due time (time management).
  • Understanding the procedures and controls required for custody accounts
  • Participating in testing new applications, system and process enhancements and trainings
  • Being compliant with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent English (minimum B2)
  • Prior work experience would be a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Analytical and research skills, details oriented. Ability to learn quickly in a hybrid work environment
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access- is desired)
  • Interest in capital markets/finance
  • Ability to think outside the box, having an eye for detail, and multitasking,
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines (prioritise tasks under time pressure, ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects)
