Duties & responsibilities

Account Management

  • Manage Finance & Banking segment accounts from Japan HQ. The responsibility is different depending on the regional/local team management structure, contract type, client expectations and service requirements.
  • Manage these onsite teams and facilitate HQ support, including staff issues.

Communications

  • Communicate well internally/externally to achieve goals
  • Build a strong relationship with Clients, JLL regional and onsite teams
  • Collaborate with JLL Legal / Finance / HR / HQ support teams, including PXP to support onsite teams

New business & organic growth

  • Support the WD sales team to get new business
  • Support transition activities to start new business operations smoothly  
  • Collaborate with onsite teams and other business lines in JLL to expand business opportunities in existing accounts

Staff Assignment & Career progression

  • Coordinate staff assignments at an appropriate timing without any critical vacancy and minimize profit loss for the account
  • Support the staff assignment process working with other GADs, HR and hiring manager
  • Provide staff with the opportunity to progress their individual career plans and encourage internal mobility through job posting and career progression / succession planning

WD regional and global initiatives

  • Attend the necessary training and webinars and cascade the information to account teams
  • Lead regional and global initiatives to achieve the target goals, develop and implement improvement plans until goals are achieved
  • Develop Engineering opportunities and process with region and global team

Best Practice & Innovation

  • Propose and implement various solutions, recommendations, and best practices for WD Accounts Japan to be a better organization.
  • Proactively consider new operational approaches (e.g. IoT and AI) to build out a future business model.
  • Proactively improve the organization to achieve a better environment and working circumstances for staff

Candidate Specification

Recommend Experience

  • Client account and onsite team management for over 5 years’ experience
  • People manager for over 5 years’ experience
  • Working with Regional / Global contacts for over 3 years’ experience

 

Personal & Task Skills

  • Communication skill in both Japanese and English
  • Make an analysis and finding the right goal and right process for staff, account team and WD Accounts Japan
  • Good organizational, management, communication and follow up skills
  • Ability to make presentations to grow the business or to improve the relationship with clients
  • Collect the necessary information by oneself, analyse the data and share it accurately to achieve the intended result
  • Ability to keep information confidential and share only with the appropriate people
  • Have a strong desire to achieve results and to sacrifice oneself in time and effort to support staff, account teams, clients or WD Accounts Japan
  • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Proactive individual
