Thales OME designs a range of state-of-the-art solutions for some of the most technically advanced defence and security platforms in the world, and we are seeking a Service Delivery Manager who can apply their knowledge and skills in challenging but rewarding role.

Our Opportunity

As a Service Delivery Manager you will be managing a portfolio of spares and repairs and accountable for on-time-delivery from the receipt of the purchase order through to delivery of the sales order.

Key responsibilities of the role

The role will include the following activities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activity of your open order book, liaising with internal stakeholders e.g. Procurement, Industry, Sales Management Office, Trade Compliance and Quality Assurance for support to drive successful conclusions.
  • Driving Customer on-time-delivery for repairs and spares.
  • Management of any customer backlog.
  • Forecast commitments for delivery, backlog and revenue for open order book.
  • Customer intimacy to provide feedback and updates on progress.

About you

  • Experience in a dynamic fast moving environment managing multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Contribution to refining processes and help drive improvements and efficiencies in the managing work load.
  • Working knowledge of relevant ERP, PLM and Microsoft suite.
  • Tenacious and focussed to drive results for our Customers.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Due to the nature of the work that we do at Thales, many of our roles are subject to security restrictions. This role requires Security Clearance (SC). It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment.

To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
