The opportunity

Join our field service team and be the face of Hitachi Energy at customer sites. You will install, maintain, and repair critical energy equipment across diverse locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and direct customer interaction. You will solve real problems in the field and make an immediate impact. How you'll make an impact

  • Install, maintain, and repair Hitachi Energy equipment at customer sites.

  • Perform diagnostic tests and identify root causes of technical issues.

  • Document all service activities, parts used, and solutions applied.

  • Provide clear technical guidance and support to customers on-site.

  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

  • Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex issues.

  • Stay current with product advancements through ongoing training.

  • Manage service tools, equipment, and parts inventory accurately.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your background

  • Degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 1–3 years of experience in field service or hands-on technical support roles.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in dynamic environments.
