The Manager, Print and Out of Home (OOH) Media leads the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of Print and OOH media investments. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, efficiency, and performance across campaigns, while fostering strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep media expertise, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering impactful results.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead Print and OOH media strategies that align with client objectives and broader marketing goals. Provide thought leadership and contribute to integrated media planning discussions.
Campaign Oversight: Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring flawless implementation, timely delivery, and performance tracking. Guide junior team members and ensure alignment across planning, operations, and creative teams.
Vendor & Partner Management: Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with media vendors, publishers, and partners. Lead negotiations to secure premium placements, added value, and competitive rates.
Creative Collaboration: Partner with creative agencies to ensure alignment between media strategy and creative execution. Provide input on asset development and custom placements to maximize impact.
Measurement & Optimization: Lead the development of measurement frameworks for Print and OOH campaigns, including circulation, impressions, reach, and ROI. Analyze performance data and recommend optimizations to improve outcomes.
Innovation & Best Practices: Identify emerging trends and technologies in Print and OOH media. Champion new approaches and tools to enhance media effectiveness and efficiency.
Reporting & Insights: Deliver high-quality reporting and insights to clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure commentary is clear, strategic, and actionable.
Team Development: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence.
Qualifications
Post-secondary Degree in Media, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in media planning and buying, with a focus on Print and OOH.
Proven track record of managing large-scale media campaigns and vendor relationships.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented mindset and a passion for media innovation.

The salary range for this position is $80k-$90k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
