About the Role

This position is responsible for leading our customer and campaigns data strategy and analytics team. The role will be crucial in driving data-driven decision-making and insights that optimize marketing strategies, improve customer experiences and support overall business growth. In particular, the Customer and Campaigns Analytics head is expected to contribute to the ideation of campaigns that improve payment rates, prevent lapse / attrition, and win back attrited / lapsed customers, as well as targeted cross sell or upsell of additional policies to existing customers, and campaigns that encourage enrollment and engagement in AIA Vitality.

These efforts are expected to contribute to net customer growth for AIA Philippines and BPI AIA.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the collection, analysis, and interpretation of customer data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Campaign Management Team to formulate and implement targeted campaigns to improve sales productivity and deepen product penetration.
  • Implement, track and evaluate marketing campaigns to see opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement methodologies to understand customer behavior, preferences, and trends; produce data-driven insights and analyses that can drive strategy and help the team achieve customer growth targets
  • Develop best-suited data models and algorithms, and assess efficiency based on available parameters.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
  • Reporting and Visualization – create and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and influence decision-making.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for data concerns including data availability, quality, and security protocols.
  • Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve analytics processes and capabilities.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data analysts and data scientists.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience as a data analyst/scientist
  • Experience data review and extraction from a large, enterprise data warehouse preferably with Python / R, SAS, Power BI and Advance Excel capabilities
  • Adept at quantitative analysis and strategic decision-making / planning experience
  • Must have excellent judgment, is results oriented, and self-motivated to thrive under pressure and committed to continuous self-development.
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills; able to explain technical details in a language that non-technical partners can comprehend
  • Ability to interact with and influence people at all levels of the organization
