• Role:
The Centralized Scheduler is a front-line staff member, assigned to complete multiple daily clerical activities supporting Operations. This includes but is not limited to: Scheduling and assignment of staff, pulling and reviewing system reports to assist Operations, Billing, and Support Service management. May provide verification of care provided and facilitate communication assistance related to scheduling of Chapters Health employees based on directions from Clinical Managers and Executive Directors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred, but work experience may be substituted for college
- Minimum of (2) year’s office experience.
- Prior staff scheduling and clinical patient care experience preferred
- Able to perform sedentary work with frequent interruptions
- Flexible in assignments of related clerical duties.
- Knowledge and working proficiency of software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Detail oriented and data entry proficient.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities:
- Schedules field staff to provide appropriate frequency of care to patients, utilizing Chapters EMR.
- Using business judgment and departmental guidelines, determines appropriate scheduling assignment of patients.
- Provides information related to resource availability and incorporates directives relating to patient assignment. Works closely with Clinical Managers and Regional Directors.
- Reviews reporting to validate compliance of scheduled visits. Escalates identified issues to management.
- Prepares department reports.
- May be assigned to other clerical support duties including switchboard support, completion of patient notification and satisfaction calls, and other duties as assigned.
