Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, focusing on accelerating project timelines while maintaining high standards of quality. Your role includes continuous testing efforts that cover various aspects such as security and regression, alongside developing and implementing automation strategies. You actively participate in reviewing code, tracking issues, and contributing to ongoing improvements throughout the entire application lifecycle, ensuring that the solutions delivered meet the expected quality benchmarks.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support testing activities and knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Monitor testing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management, Functional Test Planning.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting to support continuous testing efforts.
- Experience in designing and executing test cases for security, API, and regression testing.
- Ability to analyze defects and collaborate with development teams to drive resolution.
- Familiarity with environment and data configuration to support testing activities.
- Competence in participating in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
