The Opportunity:

This is a part time - 20 hour per week position. Employee can work remote and we are prioritizing candidates local to Hanover, MD.

CACI Integrated Communications provides marketing and communications services to Government and commercial clients. We are seeking a Media and Events Coordinator to join our team and provide events support for an annual recruitment marketing and advertising program for the federal government. Are you are detail-oriented and logistic-minded? Bring your energy and organizational skills to this fast-paced role in recruitment marketing. In this junior role, you will be working directly with both external clients and internal staff to coordinate event efforts on behalf of the federal government.  This role gives you a unique opportunity to work in various virtual and physical event spaces. You’ll have the opportunity to build booths, post jobs, and coordinate trainings between vendors and the client.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Media and Events Coordinator, you will interact with the media, billing, and production departments daily.

  • You will work hand in hand with the Media & Events Account Project Manager to facilitate and book events, with an emphasis on recruitment.

  • Daily interaction throughout the event planning and launch cycle

  • Building effective relationships with both vendors and clients

  • Responsible for tracking deadlines

  • Compilation of post-event statistics detailing performance, learnings and recommendations

  • Preparation of status reports and briefings for management, ensuring meeting customer needs as well as lessons learned

  • Work well with a team, as well as individually

Qualifications:

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in events, advertising, communications, marketing, public relations, or related field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel

  • Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail

  • Ability to adhere to assigned deadlines         

  • Comfort with talking to clients

  • Able to work well with a team, as well as individually.

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and motivated to learn

  • You must be comfortable simultaneously managing multiple tasks and keeping daily communication with vendors and customers.

  • Strong organizational skills are a must.

Desired:

  • Experience in Recruitment Marketing

  • Ad agency experience a plus

  • Initiative and curiosity

  • Problem-solving skills and a strong ability to multitask

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$51,800-$106,200
