Your Opportunity as the Developer, Finance Technology
Support the design and delivery of analytics, automation, and reporting solutions that drive smarter, faster decisions. You’ll work hands‑on with modern tools—including emerging AI‑enabled technologies—while executing defined development tasks, supporting testing and documentation, and learning core Finance systems. Through collaboration with experienced team members, you’ll build a strong foundation in technical delivery, quality standards, and responsible innovation while making a real impact on efficiency and performance.
Location: Orrville, OH
Work Arrangements: hybrid, 35% onsite expectation
In this role you will:
Support analytics development by assisting in the build, enhancement, and maintenance of finance analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions, working closely with senior developers and analysts to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with business needs.
Contribute to automation initiatives by helping develop, test, and maintain process automations (including RPA and workflow tools) that improve efficiency and data quality across Finance, while learning and applying development standards and best practices.
Maintain proper documentation and quality standards by creating and updating technical documentation, process flows, test cases, and knowledge artifacts to support transparency, maintainability, and effective knowledge sharing within the team.
Develop business and domain understanding through collaboration by actively engaging with the Finance Technology Team and extended partners via workshops and working sessions to learn business processes, gather requirements, and build strong cross‑functional relationships.
What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information System or related field
1+ years in analytics, programming, automation, or related technical work (internships included)
Exposure to R/Python/SQL/JavaScript and BI tools
Ability to focus on detail and produce quality output
Possess a customer service approach
Demonstrates ability to think critically, conceptually, and outside-the-box
Passion for process design, automation, continuous improvement, and challenging the status quo
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Automation Tool Certification (Blue Prism, UiPath, etc.) or Analytics Tool Certification (Tableau, Databricks)
