We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of AFRICOM, EUCOM and CJTF-HOA’s mission objectives. CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed SCCM System Software Engineer. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS. System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) System Software Engineers require extensive experience gathering detailed customer requirements to design, develop, and maintain an effective system.

Responsibilities:


The SCCM System Software Engineer will perform system administration for the continued enhancement, operation, and maintenance of the SCCM enterprise deployment system and App-V application virtualization solution. Candidates must be able to work within a team environment to package and publish both virtualized and installed applications, deploy Windows and 3rd party application updates, create and maintain documentation, assure server and application availability and performance, and diagnose and fix Windows Server and System Center application issues.
The successful candidate must be able to manage infrastructure and boundaries/boundary groups, SCCM collection and query creation, and maintenance windows. Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), client installation, content distribution, software update deployments, software update groups, software update packages, and reporting on software updates success/failure. Must be able to perform 3rd party application patching of software such as, Adobe, Java, and Apple products using Systems Center Updates Publisher (SCUP). Must be able to manage Windows 10 feature update management, WIM Creation and maintenance, and MDT and offline imaging processes. Create and customize OSD Task Sequences, driver libraries, and boot disks. Must be able to manage Application and Package creation and deployment utilizing packaging and deployment technologies including but not limited to SCCM and App-V 5.1

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
  • BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
  • 5+ years experience administering Windows 2012+ servers
  • 2+ years experience administering System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience with major Microsoft technologies including PC and Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Office These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • ITIL v3 – Foundation · CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater) · Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and SQL Server Reporting Services
  • One of the following computing environment (Microsoft) certifications (or similar) for DoD 8570.01 Certification Compliance

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
