The Role: Engineer II, Software Development

The Team: You will work with a team of Infinity, ambitious, and hard-working software professionals who are accountable for implementing solutions that enhance the speed, agility, and efficiency of delivery across the enterprise. This will include solutions for tooling, services, automation, shared libraries / frameworks that support technology functions and managed services / operations industrialization.

Responsibilities: 

  • Complete SDLC: architecture, design, development, and support of the product
  • Active participation in all scrum ceremonies, following AGILE best practices effectively.
  • Play a key role in the development team to build high-quality, high-performance, scalable code
  • Produce technical design documents and conduct technical walkthroughs
  • Work collaboratively with business partners to understand and clarify requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Respond to and resolve internal and client raised issues.
  • Evaluate, apply & adoption of new technologies and tools within the team and across the organization to provide productivity, efficiency and scalability benefits.
  • Collaborate and share knowledge to members of the team and wider organization.
  • Agent of constant improvement – within development and across organization.

What We’re Looking For: 
 

  • 2+ years of Full Stack developer with significant experience in application development
  • Must have Good knowledge of Java and associated technologies
  • Good knowledge in SQL is a must. Candidate must have experience with any RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) or NoSQL databases such as (Mongo DB, DynamoDB)
  • Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development.
  • Hands-on experience on any version control tools like GIT.
  • Awareness of frontend technologies, JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, React.js, Angular), and exposure to cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) is a must.
  • Good knowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns.

Basic Qualifications:   

  • Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment following Agile software development principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task.
  • High energy and a self-starter.
  • 2+ years development experience building enterprise software or platforms in Java and associated technologies
  • Preference will be given to candidates that have experience working distributed systems
  • Expertise in data management technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL)
  • Good background on leveraging cloud technologies
  • Ability to deliver products in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
