This position is to provide HUD GAE with enhanced support to address the additional workload required to deliver no-code/low-code development solutions, strengthen the IT governance procedures through the facilitation and management of the Technical Review Sub-Committee (TRC) and the Configuration Change Management Board (CCMB) and provide oversite operational stability and enhanced capabilities to the EDM system. 

White Pine Innovations is seeking a Systems Analyst III to provide support to help manage the OCIO’s IT Governance processes, with specific emphasis on the TRC and the CCMB processes. This position is a remote position. This is a full-time employment opportunity, and the candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor information technology (IT) programs and projects.
  • Assist SME in providing guidance to Applications Engineering teams and program area technical SMEs. 
  • Provide assistance to SME in Lessons Learned & Knowledge Management support to the TRC domain SMEs.
  • Assist in developing SOPs, desk guides and other required working documents.
  • Track, review, and interpret various laws, regulations and policies affecting OCTO.
  • Assist in assessing impact of new or modified requests/requirements from client programs. 
  • Customer, client, end user support activities.
  • Perform Governance tasks to support the No Code/Low Code applications planning, modernization, and implementation.
  • Assist in conducting Technical Assessments and Technology Review.
  • Assist in conducting Baseline Assessments and Engineering Trade-off Analysis.
  • Assist in assessment and manage Technical Risk. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client. 
  • Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
  • 7+ years’ experience in data governance, data analysis, data management, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience in practicing or facilitating stewardship in data governance and data management technical platforms related to activities around data cataloging, business glossary development, lineage and other relationship properties, stewardship engagement, metadata enrichment (i.e. Informatica, Collibra, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data modeling and metadata management concepts.
  • Proficiency in the comprehension and application of industry standard and best practice data governance and data management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Technical backend experience working with data quality tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
