A Day in the Life

The Data Analyst will join the Strategic Marketing Intelligence (SMI) team as a key player in driving data-informed decision-making across the EurAsia region. The role offers a unique chance to apply your analytical skills on high-impact initiatives and help shape how data is used in strategic marketing. You’ll work on a wide range of business questions, turning complex data into clear insights and building tools that make data accessible and actionable for cross-functional teams.

This role is an integral part of the Strategic Marketing Intelligence (SMI) team for the EurAsia region, which drives cross-functional initiatives across diverse markets. As part of a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will work with stakeholders from marketing, finance, and commercial teams to turn data into actionable insights. Your work will involve querying, modelling, and visualizing data to support strategic decisions, as well as building intuitive analytical tools. You’ll also help promote best practices and contribute to a data-driven culture by making insights more accessible and encouraging smarter decision-making across the organization.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop, transform, and model data to produce strategic and operational insights that improve decision-making
  • Build and maintain customized dashboards using enterprise systems and analytics tools
  • Maintain and validate analytical systems, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure alignment between data outputs and business needs
  • Act as a liaison between IT, Centers of Excellence, Marketing, and commercial teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions
  • Foster strong relationships with key business and finance partners to drive alignment and contribute to strategic planning cycles
  • Support innovation initiatives, including AI and automation projects, by preparing data and building prototype solutions

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Entry level experience in analytics or business intelligence roles
  • Fundamental SQL skills for querying and data transformation and basic understanding of working in big data environments (e.g. Snowflake)
  • Familiarity with data preparation and transformation tools such as KNIME, Tableau Prep, or Power Query
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support the translation of business questions into data-driven approaches
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and engage with stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
  • Basic understanding of how data flow across systems and how different tools and platforms connect within an analytics environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Able to take ownership of assigned work and raise issues proactively when needed
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a willingness to learn, ask questions, and build understanding
