Key Responsibilities
Support tendering activities by ensuring sourcing assumptions are accurate, complete, and aligned to profitable project outcomes.
Lead supplier negotiations during project execution to achieve the best total cost and contractual position for the business and assigned projects.
Manage sourcing activities across both ITO and OTR stages of the business.
Create and manage purchase orders in support of project execution requirements.
Enable timely supplier payments through effective coordination and accurate execution of procurement processes.
Manage supplier claims as well as business claims toward suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct sourcing analytics, including commodity mapping, commodity trend analysis, and inflation forecasting.
Develop cost models and inflation tracking tools to support sourcing strategy and business decision-making.
Apply technical expertise, commercial acumen, and analytical thinking to solve sourcing and supplier-related challenges.
Support supplier development initiatives and onboarding of new suppliers for the Boiler product line in collaboration with Supplier Quality and Product Line leaders.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding sourcing strategy, execution status, and coordination requirements.
Provide informal guidance and knowledge sharing to newer team members as appropriate.
Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes, practices, and project execution outcomes.
Required Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent diploma with relevant experience.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, tendering, and project sourcing.
Strong analytical experience in sourcing data analysis, commodity mapping, and inflation tracking.
Experience supporting supplier development and onboarding initiatives.
Ability to work effectively across both tendering and execution environments.
