About the Role

This position is responsible for driving the set-up of enterprise-grade cloud architecture on AliCloud International which will be under the governance of Group Technology. The scope encompasses designing, implementing, and maintaining AliCloud International and ensuring operational excellence of the cloud architecture. The role bridges architecture design and day-to-day operations, supporting business units in deploying secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

The incumbent will work closely with Group Innovation Office (GIO) teams located in Shanghai, EDSH, to ensure the cloud architecture and operation support AI/Gen AI products/solutions development and deployment.

We need a person with a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and a deep understanding of Application software and operations processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Architecture:

• Design and implement Alibaba Cloud landing zones aligned with enterprise governance and security standards.
• Develop network topology, identity and access management, and multi-account structures for scalability and compliance.
• Integrate native Alibaba Cloud security services, including centralized audit logging and SIEM integration.
• Define automation strategies for CI/CD pipelines, resource provisioning, and operational workflows.
• Implement policy-based governance to enforce compliance and operational guardrails across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architecture meets business continuity, disaster recovery, and compliance benchmarks.

Operations:

• Manage O&M (Operations & Maintenance) activities, including monitoring, logging, and incident response.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical workloads.
• Provide operational support for cloud services, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Maintain governance guardrails and enforce policy compliance across environments.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational processes through automation and tooling.

Minimum Job Requirement

• 8+ years relevant experience in Cloud Engineering / Support role.
• Proven experience in Public Cloud implementation and support, focusing on AI services.
• Relevant professional certifications (Azure, AWS, Ali-cloud, ITIL, etc.).
• Practical hands-on experience in Ali-cloud.
• Sound understanding of IT partner ecosystem and partner collaboration in a multinational corporation.
• Experience in top-tier multinational corporation will be an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and analytics skill
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to operationalize disruptive technology services, e.g., building relevant implementation roadmaps.
