As a Sr. Manager FP&A, Marketing Finance you will become an expert in Target’s retail media network (Roundel), working closely with the Partner Solutions Group (PSG) to lead financial strategy, revenue planning, and forecasting for a key area of Roundel’s managed service business. You will:
Partner with the Sr. Director, Sales Leaders, and support teams of the “Discretionary” Vertical (categories include Accessories & Apparels, Home, Electronics, Toys, and others).
Proactively identify trends, risks, opportunities and key financial priorities for the business using facts and data to influence decision making.
Lead tops-down analytics on segment revenue / P&L, uncovering revenue insights, performing variance analysis, and leveraging strong story telling skills to clearly communicate the drivers of business performance.
Support business case development on new service offerings and understand impact of new offerings to Roundel and enterprise financials.
Drive core FP&A routines including Forecast, Plan, and LRP for the Vertical.
Create tools to analyze performance and streamline decision making.
Partner with Roundel stakeholders, ensuring Roundel and Segment goals are aligned with and integrated into short- and long-term enterprise plans.
Partner closely with revenue and expense analyst on forecasting, planning and headcount to provide actionable insights to business and finance leaders.
You will help tell the Roundel story to senior leaders across Target, clearly and concisely focusing conversations on the most impactful items and taking insight from past results to influence future outcomes. A successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, be accountable and agile to ever-changing business dynamics, and be highly organized and process oriented to handle recurring FP&A routines.
About You:
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience– preferably in Finance or Business-related area. MBA a plus but not required.
6+ years of finance and business experience
Outstanding communication and relationship building, with team oriented focus
Credible thought leader
Entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision making, project management, planning and organizational skills.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
