What you'll do

You’ll be joining the experience Design Operations team supporting the orchestration and optimisation of people, processes, and craft that supports the efficient and effective delivery of design, amplifying design’s value and impact at scale. We’ll look to you to support the programme and portfolio leads with the definition and leadership of strategic change programmes, taking accountability for programme and project lifecycle.

You’ll develop the programme in partnership with stakeholders, defining appropriate objectives, structure and scope and utilising designs ops practises of how we work together, how we get work done and how our work creates impact.

You’ll also:

  • Develop the programme in partnership with stakeholders, defining appropriate objectives, structure and scope, utilising designs ops practises of how we work together, how we get work done and how our work creates impact
  • Identify and manage the governance and controls appropriate to the complexities of the programme and ensure that all of the programme deliverables adhere to the agreed governance and risk frameworks
  • Make sure that delivery of the project outcomes and services from the projects meet programme strategic objectives
  • Build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions, influencing decision making in line with business objectives
  • Own, define and manage programme plans, controls and resource plans and status or progress reporting on plans and controls

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll need to hold an appropriate programme management qualification.

You’ll also have:

  • Strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced planning and organisational skills 
  • A background of experience working in, or closely with, design functions
  • Experience of delivering programme management in a technology or IT function
