We are looking for an exceptional Strategy & Partnerships Senior Manager to join our fast-growing team and help drive our strategic vision forward. This team collaborates with our most senior leaders to determine our strategy, evaluate progress vs. our strategic goals, determine ways to accelerate our efforts including via partnerships and facilitate execution where necessary.

About the role

In this role, you will be exposed to a variety of exciting projects and opportunities to work with Zillow's leadership team, make an impact on the company's broader strategy and ensure the success of our growth initiatives. You will have the unique opportunity to work cross-functionally and collaboratively across our company to support business leaders in setting and refining their strategies, evaluate new strategic opportunities, and identify, and execute strategic partnerships that align with Zillow's mission and objectives. 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with leadership for our AI and Shopping businesses, to support in the development and refinement of their strategy

  • Spearhead strategy projects to define and evaluate opportunities to accelerate or augment business unit goals

  • Lead execution - from discovery through negotiation - of innovative partnerships that drive growth towards Zillow's strategic priorities

  • Inform business strategy through insights on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities - including via relationships with key industry/external stakeholders

  • Drive additional high-priority strategy projects across Zillow, engaging with senior leaders to provide well-researched and data-driven recommendations

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful execution and integration of partnership initiatives

  • Monitor and report on partnership performance, making data-informed decisions to optimize and improve processes and program effectiveness continually

  • Participate in discovery and thesis development for M&A opportunities

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $146,300.00 - $233,700.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Demonstrated success in strategic analysis, business case development, and turning insights into action

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data and present insights effectively

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence senior leaders

  • Experience executing partnerships, from inception to negotiation and management, with a track record of driving a measurable impact

  • Bias for action - and ability to navigate complex and dynamic situations

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Management or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic partnerships, business development, or management consulting, preferably in technology or real estate sectors
