Job Description:
Your Impact
As a Project Manager in the Mission Support product area, you’ll manage the delivery of software products that help enhance Leonardo’s Electronic Warfare, Platform Protection and Sensing capabilities for platforms including Wedgetail, A400M, Typhoon, NMH, and GCAP.
You will play a key role within an Integrated Project Team, ensuring software development and support activities run smoothly and efficiently while contributing to the operational advantage of our armed forces.
What You Will Do
Project Delivery
- Manage day‑to‑day delivery of software development or support projects
- Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables
- Track progress against cost, schedule and quality objectives
Support Governance & Reporting
- Prepare project status reports for internal reviews
- Support risk, issue and dependency management
- Maintain accurate financial tracking and forecasting
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, commercial, procurement and capability functions as part of an IPT
- Contribute to a collaborative and accountable team culture
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and support customer engagements
- Support bids, proposals and estimating activities
What You’ll Bring
- Experience delivering or supporting engineering or software projects
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Understanding of project control fundamentals (schedule, cost, risk)
- A positive, proactive, can‑do approach
- Willingness to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
