Key Responsibilities
The Licensed Paraplanner will support Wealth Advisors and the Director of Financial Planning by preparing, organizing, and executing the planning process for clients.
Leading, Managing, and Holding Accountable the Planning Team
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Financial Planning Assistants
- This includes ensuring work is done compliantly and with accuracy
Planning Preparation & Analysis
- Gather, organize, and analyze client financial data (cash flow, investments, insurance, retirement, estate, tax, etc.)
- Assist in building and updating financial plans in planning software
- Prepare customized reports, projections, and planning scenarios for advisor/client meetings
- Research products, strategies, and technical planning issues as needed
Advisor & Client Support
- Participate in plan design discussions with Wealth Advisors
- Prepare meeting materials and follow-up deliverables for client reviews
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in all planning deliverables
- Support implementation of planning recommendations (paperwork, coordination with partners, tracking progress)
Team Collaboration & Growth
- Work closely with advisors, client service associates, and tax professionals to deliver integrated planning
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and client experience
- Stay current on planning tools, regulations, and strategies through continuing education
