Job Summary

As a Team Lead, you'll play a critical role in supervising, managing, and motivating team members daily to optimize productivity and collaboration. Excellent communication skills are essential as you’ll be the primary contact for all team members, facilitating smooth team operations and ensuring project objectives are met promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary resources and support to perform their roles efficiently.
• Supervise and evaluate each team member's performance, offering feedback, and implementing corrective actions as needed to optimize productivity and quality.
• Ensure project control and monitoring tools are updated and accurately represent the project's real-time status.
• Address and resolve project-related issues, alerting higher management and clients to risks and conflicts that could impact project success.
• Facilitate consistent communication with the team, superiors, and clients to provide updates and address inquiries related to project development.
• Liaise with other departments within the organization to address and resolve matters related to the project, client, or team members (e.g., client visits, network and computer equipment issues).

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Informatics.
• Possess proven experience in a Team Lead role.
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership and team management skills, with proven experience inspiring and directing cross-functional teams.
• Show strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Possess a problem-solving mindset, equipped with the creativity and collaborative spirit to address and resolve challenges efficiently.

Role-specific Requirements

NodeJS + React Full Stack Developer 

 Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient Node.js microservices
• Implement APIs using RESTful principles and best practices
• Develop modern UIs with React
• Query/Update data with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Monitor and troubleshoot microservices to ensure high availability and performance
• Work with Scrum SDLC including sprints, demos, etc.

 Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Node.js developer with 5+ years of experience
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming
• Experience writing React applications
• Experience with popular Node.js frameworks (e.g. KOA, Joi, Objection)
• Experience with building and deploying microservices
• Familiarity with API design principles (RESTful APIs)
• Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data access tools (ORMs) 
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) 
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, AWS services

 
Nice to Have:

• Experience with any cloud platforms (e.g., GCP)
• Strong understanding of building pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, AWS CI/CD)
• Knowledge of Event or Messaging platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ
