Job Description

What is the opportunity?

We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Coordinator to join RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM), the asset management division of RBC. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Associate Director, Sales Support (Advisor Channel Sales) and the Managing Director, Regional Sales, Central Canada (Advisor Channel Sales), and the Managing Director, Inside Sales (Advisor Channel Sales). You will act as the first point of contact, monitoring incoming activities to organize calendars and daily tasks as well as managing workflow, priorities, and expenses. What will you do?

  • Coordinate all administrative duties for the AD, Sales Support, the MD, Inside Sales and the MD, Regional Sales Central Canada, including calendar, meeting, stationery, and expense management
  • Manage all travel, hotel, and car rental arrangements
  • Manage the email and mail of the Associate Director and Managing Directors, proactively responding to correspondence/requests and prioritizing for action
  • Coordinate team onboarding and training schedules
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, reports and other documents to support the administration of various national and team initiatives
  • Plan, source, and execute regional team meetings
  • Keep current with the overall Advisor Channel Sales calendar of activity (product launches, national and regional events, sales management activities)
  • Administer Continuing Educations accreditation and fulfilment program, including, coordinating accreditation, producing certificates, reporting usage metrics, working with external vendor and budget management. Monitor CE inbox and respond directly to advisor CE credit inquiries.

What do you need to succeed?
Must Have

  • Superior Microsoft Office Suite capabilities (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support capacity
  • Flexibility with respect to work tasks, managing priorities, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Sound judgment and autonomy with the ability to work well independently and on tight deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Completion of the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • Mutual Fund industry experience
  • Knowledge of businesses being supported

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$46,000.00 - $70,000.00
