The Program Coordinator Level 1 (PC I) will manage the operational aspects of a construction projects to ensure the project is completed within budget and on time. They will plan for the initiation of the project by scheduling resources and will process and monitor the progress while overseeing the timeframe and cost throughout the project. They will work with small-scale installation projects and material-only transactions. The PC 1 is the point of contact for customers’ inquiries (via phone and email).

Educational & Experience requirements:  

Bachelor’s degree; consideration will be given to a combination of education and experience, or experience in a related field.

Skills and Experience:

•    1-2 years project coordination/scheduling experience
•    Project Management experience preferred
•    Flooring experience a plus, but not required
•    Construction industry experience preferred
•    Carpet industry experience/knowledge preferred
•    Strong organizational and time management skills to keep up with project deadlines and deliverables
•    Strong customer service orientation
•    Excellent interpersonal skills
•    Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
•    Commitment to company values
•    Strong team player
•    Experience with MS Office, especially Excel 


Essential duties:

•    Responsible for scheduling installers, tracking materials, and working directly with Program Managers and Sales Directors supporting assigned projects
•    Manages operational aspects of construction projects
•    Manages project within budget
•    Plans for initiation of project schedule
•    Monitors job progress and oversee time frames
•    Maintains housekeeping
•    Complies with safety rules
•    Complies with environmental regulations
•    Awareness of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
•    Performs other duties as assigned


Physical Demands, Work Environment & Travel: 

Lifting up to 35 lbs.
Travel is estimated at less than 5%, if any.
Office environment, and job site environment (if traveling).
