Primary Function

  • Lead the Access & Value function in Estonia, developing appropriate strategies to support optimal pricing & reimbursement of Pfizer products.
  • Develop Pfizer’s A&V capabilities in Estonia, Develop Market Access strategies and plans for Pfizer products (in coordination with brand teams) integrating relevant health economic data and evidence required by Estonian Payers into brand strategy / plans.
  • Build Pfizer thought leadership in the value and access environment and shape the long-term development of the Estonian market to position Pfizer optimally for sustainable success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver on agreed operational and strategic targets – e.g. reimbursement listings, price approvals, meeting internal pricing timelines and local Legal requirements.
  • Develop best in class pricing and market access strategies for Pfizer assets in partnership with Global Access & Value and local/above country commercial teams.
  • Represent Access & Value as a member of the Pfizer Leadership team, ensure the organization objectives are clearly implemented, and advise on what is required to build and sustain industry-leading A&V capabilities.
  • Source, interpret, customize and disseminate high quality Outcomes Research and Economic assessment information in a timely fashion to direct and support all Business Categories with submissions.
  • Support local data requirements, with translation of (international) HE data into local models, and generation of local data as required, to support our business.
  • Oversee price approvals and work with the regional and global pricing teams to submit price submissions and re-evaluation as required.
  • Update brand teams so they understand the HEOR / market information available and develop tools establishing the value for money Pfizer medicines provide payers / stakeholders.
  • Analyze potential impact of, and where possible and appropriate shape, new pricing, access and HTA Policy developments or decisions, develop strategy to respond to, and proactively shape such developments, and generate reports to share information across the business.
  • Work closely with Regional and Global Access and Value teams on relevant regional initiatives and represent the Estonian market in regional and global forums.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate goals, policies and procedures and relevant legislation at all times.

Experience & Background

  • Relevant experience in the healthcare / pharmaceutical industry or wider health economic/market access environment (with experience in pricing / reimbursement and stakeholder management).
  • Advanced academic degree in related area (Medical, Science, Economics, Legal). Experience with development of health economic tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written including excellent presentation skills, and fluent verbal and written English.
  • Strong understanding of Estonian business and healthcare landscape.
  • Ability to take the initiative and to work well as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to identify future trends that affect strategies and adapt them to enable the business to succeed.
