Job Description 

A talented and motivated CAD/ Fabrication Engineer to join our robotics development team within our semiconductor fabrication FAB. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechatronics, robotics, and automation, with a passion for developing innovative solutions to enhance our manufacturing processes 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and implement robotic systems and automation solutions for semiconductor manufacturing processes. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to integrate robotics into existing and new production lines. 
  • Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate the performance and reliability of robotic systems. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to robotic systems and automation equipment. 
  • Optimize robotic processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput in the semiconductor fab. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals. 
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies and apply them to enhance our manufacturing capabilities. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all robotic and automation projects. 

Minimum Degree Required 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 

Minimum Qualifications 

Experience/Education: 

  • Proven experience in designing and developing robotic systems, preferably in a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of mechatronics principles, including mechanics, electronics, and control systems. 
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB. 
  • Experience with CAD software and simulation tools for robotic system design. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry or a similar high-tech manufacturing environment. 
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI techniques for robotics applications. 
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $73,200 to $100,650.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
