Job Summary

As a Field Service Engineer at GE Medical Systems (Thailand) Ltd., you will be responsible for providing expert on-site technical support for our cutting-edge medical imaging and diagnostic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction across various healthcare facilities.

Job Responsibilities

* Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of GE Medical Systems equipment, including but not limited to MRI, CT scanners, X-ray systems, and ultrasound machines.
* Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration checks to ensure equipment operates within specified parameters and complies with all safety regulations.
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, utilizing diagnostic tools, service manuals, and remote support resources.
* Provide timely and accurate documentation of all service activities, including service reports, parts usage, and customer feedback.
* Train hospital staff and other end-users on the proper operation and basic maintenance of GE Medical Systems equipment.
* Maintain a strong understanding of GE Medical Systems product lines, software, and industry advancements.
* Manage customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through professional communication and effective problem-solving.
* Adhere to all company safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in on-call rotations and be available for emergency service calls as needed.
* Collaborate with sales, applications, and technical support teams to address customer needs and improve service delivery.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field service, preferably with medical imaging equipment.
* Strong technical aptitude with a proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electronic and mechanical systems.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to fault diagnosis.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role.
* Fluency in Thai is highly desirable. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken);
* Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel extensively within Thailand.
* Experience with GE Medical Systems equipment is a significant advantage.
* Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required for installations and repairs.
