We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as a Routing and Dispatch Manager. The ideal candidate has 6 years + of experience with logistics - warehouse management, third party shipping solutions, international shipments, routing guides, shipping and packing. You will be responsible for building a strong logistical process to ensure successful transactions between the buyers and sellers on our platform. We have offices in LA and New York, this position is based in New York

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Own the logistics & supply chain process; 
• Book, co-ordinate and manage shipments, both domestic and international
• ​​Rout orders and scheduled pickup appointments with couriers. 
• Working with diverted goods and co-ordinating blind shipments
• Ensure compliance with shipping requirements between buyers and sellers including but not limited to keeping up to date on routing guides, shipping requirements, etc.
• Optimize logistics process to minimize/mitigate any charge-backs;
• Monitor and report on logistics performance, including KPIs, expenses, shipping accuracy, etc.
• Negotiate terms with logistics partners
• Booking and quoting international shipments, working with international 3PLs etc
• Implement and integrate processes and tools that enable continuous improvement of the logistics function;
• Working closely with merchandise & sales teams, keep organization up to date on deal related shipments, logistics and any potential risks/bottlenecks;
• Interact with buyer and seller logistics organizations to ensure speedy and accurate shipments;
• Work proactively to minimize shipping cost and time.

 

ABOUT YOU

• 6 years + of relevant experience such as warehouse operations, ecommerce logistics, supply chain management or other relevant function;
• Deep experience booking domestic shipments. Good understanding of brokers and shipping companies, able to find multiple options for one off/complex shipping scenarios
• Experience working with diverted goods
• Good network of domestic and international shipping brokers, freight companies and  warehouses
• Have deep understanding and experience of international logistics 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Strong attention to detail
• Be a self-starter who can juggle many balls, and prioritize & execute without micro-management.
• Comfortable working in-office 5 days a week 
• Location: New York
• Salary range: $70,000-$100,000 total compensation
