Summary/Objective:                                                         
The Buying Coordinator role is responsible for supporting the Sales + Assortment Strategy for VICI Collection through ensuring timely and accurate management of POs, item set up and attribution, and merchandising docs in addition to managing vendor relationships through clear and timely communication.
 
Essential Functions:
·        Helps upload, organize, and maintain Purchase Orders in line with established deadlines.
·        Responsible to clearly communicate changes to Purchase Orders needed based on any strategic adjustments made by Vici in a timely and organized manner.
·        Ensures all systems and tools are up to date and accurate, ensuring item level detail matches the original strategic intent as well as accurate product attribution details.
·        Responsible to partner with and reply to cross functional partners in a timely manner if adjustments are needed to Merchandising systems and tools based on any shifting strategies and/or updates needed.
·        Maintains correct item information as well as pulling item level reporting.
·        Upload and manage HS codes for all products bought by Vici.
·        Tracking inventory from our vendors to our DC.
·        Closing any outstanding open POs after they have been received by our DC
·        Manages 75+ vendor relationships providing direction for shipping and other daily communications.
·        Maintains various reporting that helps support the buying team.
·        May perform other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the company

Work Environment:
·        Works in an indoor office/home office environment, temperature controlled
·        Sit for long periods, standing and walking intermittently
·        Use office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, printer
·        Occasionally lift or pull up to 20 pounds
 
Education and Experience:
·        Bachelor’s Degree preferred
·        1-2 years prior experience in corporate retail
·        Strong mathematical and analytical skills; demonstrated proficiency working with large data sets
·        Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
·        Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
 
Expected Hours of Work:
·        This is a full-time position – Hybrid with 3 days in office per week (Tuesday through Thursday) requirement
