U.S. Bank is hiring a Custody Operations Manager to support the Non-Depository Settlements team our within Wealth Operations business line. This team consists of 5-10 individuals ranging from non-exempt and exempt employees that handles wire processing in and out.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm local time

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Some responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensures quality service and effective securities operations activities for all supported internal and external customers.

  • Accomplishes results through the effective management of staff.

  • Administers corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Proactively manages operational risks associated with span of responsibility, including the identification of control gaps and the design of operational controls to mitigate risks and financial exposure to the organization.

  • Participates in the review and recommendation of operational systems such as SWP, Trust 3000, Arcaria.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of experience in trust and securities operational functions

  • Three to five years of management experience

Skills/Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of trust and securities operational functions, systems, procedures, products and services

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth Management & Securities Services business lines and clients

  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent supervisory and management skills, including a well-developed knowledge of human resources

  • Ability to manage multiple, unrelated tasks

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00 - $98,120.00
