Position: Part-time Concession Stand Supervisor
Facility: ASM Global/Pensacola Bay Center
Location: Pensacola, Florida
DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage
REPORTS TO: Sr. F&B Manager

Summary:
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Part-time Concession Stand Supervisor position for ASM/Pensacola Bay Center. Responsible for providing excellent service to our event guests by supervising and supporting non-profit groups running the concession stands. The work schedule is event-driven and may require early morning, late night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify concessions stands are stocked and operationally ready for business prior to events.

  • Verify concession stand inventory/product prior to, during, and after events.

  • Work with concession stand groups prior to and throughout events by transferring in/out product, supervising the production of food items that are ready for sale, and verify inventory counts as event progresses.

  • Enforce and ensure all stand workers practice ServSafe food handling and safety procedures.

  • Other duties may be assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
Be able to effectively work with volunteer groups and organizations to provide the best possible experience at concession stands.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
To successfully perform the functions of the job, the following skills and abilities are required:

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Speak/understand English to effectively communicate and execute instructions via radio is required.

Computer Skills:
Minimal. Experience with POS system preferred.

Other Qualifications:
Must have current ServSafe Certification.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move/walk around the facility, stand for long hours during events, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds to chest height, talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
