Job Summary

Responsible for the handling of merchandise into and / or out of the warehouse. The primary purpose of this position is to determine the cases to be picked and transport the cases to the conveyor belt.

The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid's brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.

Responsibilities

  • Pay: $18.50 / hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 7:00 AM - Completed or 8:00 AM - Completed (approx. 8-10 hrs per shift)

  • Handles, picks and moves product through the building.
  • Prepares merchandise for shipment. Assembles customer orders and transports them to the packing and/or shipping area. Marks items with identifying information for transport to the correct shipping door.
  • May utilize small hand tools and operates materials handling equipment including pallet handlers, hand trucks, and the like to maintain continuous flow.
  • Identifies, separates, labels, and palletizes merchandise.
  • May check, verify and audit merchandise and enters data into a database to ensure that correct merchandise has been received and that merchandise is as expected and not damaged or defective.
