About Us – Laboratory 

• Freeman West results over 3.53 million tests a year and issues over 550 units of blood each month

• Other Labs at Freeman include the Cornell Beshore Cancer Institute Lab and Freeman Neosho Laboratory  

• Draw stations are located inside Freeman East, the Bentlage Building and the Women’s Pavilion  

• There are over 140 employees in the Labs at Freeman and all of them are highly talented and patient-centric individuals

Schedule

4 10-hour shifts per week, including weekend rotation and holiday rotation

What You'll Do

Phlebotomy Coordinator, under the direction of the Director of Administrative Laboratory Services, ensures that daily work of the Phlebotomy staff is completed accurately and on time. The person in this position maintains a safe and professional environment for patients, clients, and employees by supervising and monitoring Phlebotomist activities on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with all Freeman policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must meet CLIA 88 standards, which includes a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in supervisory and/or management preferred.
• Successful completion of the phlebotomy skill development course or active CNA, RMA or National Phlebotomy Certification
