The Safe & Security Systems Technician supports the Facilities Security Supervisor in managing the company’s safe program, including installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and daily testing or troubleshooting. The role oversees card‑access systems for corporate offices and distribution centers, assists with the administration and upkeep of the CCTV program, and helps coordinate activities related to the EAS pilot program. This position ensures security equipment is functioning reliably, projects stay on schedule, and all systems align with organizational safety and loss‑prevention standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate the ordering, delivery, and installation of safes for new stores and for replacements following robberies or burglary‑related damage.
  • Perform safe lock code changes and ensure all updates are completed accurately and securely.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all safe repair requests, service calls, and follow‑up actions.
  • Keep Micro Key alarm administration software current with accurate store information and system updates.
  • Manage the shipping and tracking of all safe and alarm equipment.
  • Support the card‑access program for corporate offices and distribution centers, including updates and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate installation, service, and maintenance activities for all CCTV systems.
  • Assist with CCTV network configurations and maintain related tracking spreadsheets.
  • Maintain essential spreadsheets and records for the corporate ID badge program.
  • Support the administration and coordination of the EAS pilot program.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall security operations.

SKILLS:

Required:

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills for maintaining logs, spreadsheets, system records, and equipment tracking.
  • Clear, professional communication skills when coordinating with stores, vendors, technicians, and internal security teams.

Desired:

  • Experience with safe installation, repair, lock code changes, and general safe/vault hardware troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of security systems including CCTV, access control, alarm platforms, and related software tools.
