ABOUT CARDIAC TELEMETRY AT BOSTON MEDICAL CENTER:
The Critical Care Unit at Boston Medical Center - South provides specialized care and is dedicated to serving our patients with severe medical conditions. Our multidisciplinary team consists of Intensivists, critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, and clinical pharmacists and work collaboratively to stabilize and support patients with life-threatening illnesses. We are committed to providing patient-centered care, involving the families is the decision-making process, and continuously improving our quality and safety practices.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As an RN in the CCU, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization, and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
Update and manage patient records
Enter and interpret computerized data/information
Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
License/Certifications: MA RN license, BLS, ACLS required. TCAR or TNCC preferred.
Experience: Prior critical care experience preferred.

Compensation Range:
$38.10- $77.63This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
