The Position

The Junior Data Analyst will support the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) team by assisting in the collection, analysis, and reporting of hardware asset data within ServiceNow. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their analytical skills and gain experience in data management and reporting in a dynamic environment.

What will you do?

• Assist in the collection and validation of hardware asset data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support the development of reports and dashboards in ServiceNow to provide insights into hardware asset performance and utilization.
• Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends and anomalies in hardware asset data.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders.
• Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure data quality and compliance with organizational standards.
• Assist in the documentation of processes and procedures related to data management and reporting.
• Stay updated on best practices in data analysis and asset management.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in IT asset management or a related area
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
