Identify and resolve exceptions to the electronic title (“ELT”) process. Work with states, PDP departments and PDP IT to resolve issues. Document procedures and take steps to educate PDP departments on processes and state variations. This is an on-site position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Monitor daily Inbound Transmissions to confirm files are received as expected according to defined schedule.
  • Monitor outbound Transmissions to confirm state files were sent as expected according to defined schedule.
  • Identify and report potential issues and/or system gaps related to inbound and outbound transmissions.
  • Manage the ELT title exceptions and resolve in the system.
  • Manage, resolve, or notify relevant departments about necessary follow-up actions for ELT processes.
  • Support inquiries related to ELT and provide educational materials for PDP teams regarding State ELT processes.
  • Manage the ELT library to ensure it reflects current information.
  • Manage, answer and resolve ELT questions received.
  • Manage ELT reporting, to identify trends or issues.
  • Work with IT to resolve issues concerning the ELT process.
  • Communicate changes or issues that may impact ELT processes.
  • Communicate with states, clients and departments on ELT status or exceptions.
  • Work with the Regulatory Affairs group and IT on implementation of new ELT jurisdictions or ELT transactions.

Skills:

  • Proficient in explaining complex processes to others.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of vehicle titles.   Experience in electronic titles is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Skilled at documenting process changes.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).   College level courses in related areas would be a plus.
  • Ability to speak and write in a professional manner.
  • Experience with vehicle titles or DMVs is required.  Familiarity with electronic title or data files is a plus.
  • Accurate keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
