As a Software Engineer in Test, you will focus on building automated testing solutions that ensure high-quality software releases. You will automate tests at multiple levels—unit, integration, and end-to-end—within our continuous integration environment. Your work will directly impact production readiness and user experience. This role requires collaboration with software developers to design test coverage, create scenarios, and proactively improve the product. You will also gain experience taking ownership of tasks, participating in sprint planning, and contributing to ongoing process improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create comprehensive test plans aligned with development deliverables.
• Write, manage, execute, and maintain automation test scripts.
• Execute test cases, report results, and document defects for triage.

• Actively drive product quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain mobile test automation across iOS and Android, including hybrid Native / WebView flows.
• Execute mobile tests on real-device cloud platforms (e.g., BrowserStack) and analyze nightly regression results, classifying failures as environmental, automation, or product bugs to drive fast triage.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor’s degree in a software-related field; 2–5 years of experience.
• Expertise in test automation, test plans, and testing methodologies.
• Strong test case management skills (Create, Execute, Report, Revise, Repeat).
• Experience debugging complex web applications through code review and logs.
• Proficient in CI/CD and Agile environments; excellent communication skills.
• Experience with version control (Git/Subversion) and defect tracking (Jira preferred).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Selenium automation, and SAAS products.
• Working knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) applied across product, design, and engineering to support inclusive user experiences.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Appium, Selenium, and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with visual regression testing (Percy) and network traffic inspection tools (Charles Proxy) a plus.
