Genmab is currently seeking a contractor Senior Scientist, Training and Development (T&D) to be a part of an exciting opportunity of a passionate, high profile, high-impact Global Medical Affairs (GMA) team, and work in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

The contractor Senior Scientist, Medical Affairs Training & Development will work closely with Global Medical Excellence and Medical Affairs Strategy colleagues to assist in the development and maintenance of Medical Affairs training resources.  The candidate in this position will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the medical training needs for field-based associates.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities/tasks

•  Facilitate onboarding of new Field Medical Affairs (FMA) members via introductory trainings and FMA onboarding calendar maintenance 

•  Engage and coordinate with teams within GMA to support training efforts, strategic plans and launch preparation activities under the direction of the Director of T&D. 

•  Support development of training materials and slide decks.  

•  Work with Medical Affairs Strategy team(s) for approval of training modules and scheduling trainings  

•  Timely completion of administrative duties associated with role 

•  Support work instructions/process flows within Training and Development 

•  Implement delivery plans and provide periodic reporting in line with overall CoE strategy (e.g. project metrics, training outcomes, budget) 

•  Work with Medical Affairs Compliance to address issues related to deliverables 

•  Actively contribute to teams and meetings; collaborate with other medical affairs groups and external stakeholders as required  

•  Support training within Medical Affairs for new technologies and scientific aspects of applied scientific research 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline 
  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD,) in medical/biosciences preferred 
  • 1 year of relevant experience in industry settings, preferably in pharma/biotech industry with 2+ years of experience preferred
  • Experience in training, medical excellence, or comparable area 
  • Proven performance in earlier role/comparable role 
  • Strong overall written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and priorities. 
  • Ability to compile and disseminate information to others in a cohesive fashion to assure a clear understanding of project status and direction. 
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyze situations and achieve goals. 
  • Excellent computer skills including power point, word & excel.
