Job Description:
The Corporate HR Business Partner (HRBP) provides strategic support to research, design, and guide the deployment of business relevant HR strategies that translate into people solutions to strengthen organizational effectiveness and scalable delivery. This role provides a strong advisory and support relationship with its HRBP Manager and senior leaders across a global, highly complex organization. This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Partners with HR and business leaders to translate business needs into effective, value‑added HR strategies and initiatives
- Applies business and workforce insights to support talent readiness, succession, and end‑to‑end talent processes
- Supports the design, execution, and continuous improvement of HR programs in collaboration with HRBPs, COEs, and HR Services
- Leverages HR analytics to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and the employee experience
- Acts as a trusted advisor by maintaining confidentiality, ensuring compliance, and partnering cross‑functionally to manage risk and deliver seamless HR solutions
Qualifications
Required
- Must be located in the same geographical area as the job or be willing to self-relocate to the area
- Must have a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or be a current employee with a minimum of three years of experience
- Must be willing and available to report to the UPS corporate office on a daily basis
- Must be willing and available to work flexible shifts
- Must be willing and available to travel as necessary
- Must have 2-3 years of experience
- Possesses prior experience with people management and development
- Exhibits strong analytical abilities to illustrate HR’s impact on the business unit and enterprise
- Possesses ability to build business partnerships throughout the organization by demonstrating an understanding of business fundamentals and decision-making processes
- Demonstrates ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
- Embraces change and consistently champions initiatives that turn challenges into business opportunities
- Demonstrates ability to confidently facilitate conversations across differing perspectives and adapt approaches to meet diverse needs and audiences (ex. functions, cultures, and levels)
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with senior level managers and executives
- Displays strong critical thinking through flexible, creative problem-solving and the ability to appropriate challenge the status quo
- Proactively identifies opportunities, anticipates challenges, and takes initiatives to drive solutions
- Demonstrates high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Workday
Preferred
- Master's degree
- Project Management experience and/or certification
